Top 10 Tuesday: My Favorite Cream Cosmetics

Product Sent for Review

Best cream cosmetic colors and shades

A quick peek at some of my favorite cream products and my favorite post where I've reviewed or used them (though I think I haven't mentioned the Cover FX before).

1. Urban Decay 24/7 Concealer Pencil: Super pigmented, it's easy to just put a little right where you need it and blend with a finger. I usually wear FBI.

2. Stila Convertible Color in Lillium: I need to repurchase this since I'm almost out, but this has been my go-to blush this summer.

3. Cover FX Total Cover Cream Foundation: Cover GX does a great job with skin tones, and I swear that it looks so natural! (I wear N20)

4. NARS Multiple in Copacabana: The perfect highlighter

5. NARS Multiple in Orgasm: The cream version of my favorite splurge blush

6. Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Pink Plum: Another great cream blush that I turn to often. I apply with a brush.

7. IT Cosmetics Hello Light Anti-Aging Crème Luminizer: My new favorite highlighter for my cheek bones, it catches just enough light.

8. Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencil in Mushroom: Super easy to use as a liner or a shadow, it lasts all day.

9. Make Up For Ever Aqua Shadow in Matte Navy Blue: My fave dark smoky eye!

10. CoverGirl Flamed Out Shadow Pencil in Lime Green Flame: I'm looking for an excuse to use this one again.

Top 10 Tuesday: 10 Things in My Shower

Product Sent for Review I Bought it Myself

best beauty products for a shower

Today for Top 10 Tuesday we're sharing what is in our showers, I have to admit that most of us didn't think we'd reach 10 items, and while I do a lot of product testing (which doesn't always end up on the blog), I wasn't sure I'd come up with 10 items in all of that mess in my shower. (Yes, you can go ahead and feel bad for my hubby, he seems to put up with this giant bottle collection in our shower.)

beauty bloggers share 10 items in their shower

1. Joico K Pak Shampoo and Conditioner : This is currently my go-to shampoo and conditioner. I love that it is really hydrating and doesn't weigh down my hair. It also doesn't hurt that it is often included in the ULTA Liter Sale.

2. Head and Shoulders Green Apple: I have eczema and there are patches of it near my ears. I sometimes need to use a dandruff shampoo on my flare ups (I'm able to avoid using topical steroids with about once a week Head & Shoulders, I think that's pretty good!), though in the past I've hated doing this. The old school stuff smelled horrible, so I'd drag my feet and wait until I could no longer wait, so I'd be forced to use the steroids. Luckily they have a ton of new variations, and I like the Damaged Hair collection and the Green Apple, which smells yummier!

3. DermOrganic Intensive Hair Repair Masque: I love this stuff! I have a couple of intensive moisturizing masks in my shower, but this one only takes a minute to work so it seems to be my go-to products.

4. Kiehl's Aromatic Blends Orange Flower & Lychee Body Wash: I have a ton of body washes in my bathroom, but this is the one I seem to save for "good occasions". Why? Because I'm strange, and sometimes that good occasion can just be hanging out at home with the family, but it does feel like a big splurge on the days I use this one!

5. Beautisol's Hammam Deep Exfoliating Mitt: Are you tired of me talking about this exfoliating mitt yet? I know there are others out there, but this one seems to be just that perfect balance of exfoliating and not too harsh and it has held up for forever!

6. Skintimate Shave Gel for Dry Skin: I try other shaving gels, but I always seem to come back to this one!

7. Gillette Venus & Olay in Sugarberry Scent: I need 5 blades to get a close shave so I go for the Venus, but it's only recently that I've been noticing that the big moisturizing strips are worth the added bulk. (Ok, I think only the Olay ones are, they move out of the way easily and really do make my legs smoother.) I really love this summer's new Sugarberry scent!

8. Le Edge: You know when you're in the shower and you scratch an itch somewhere (for me this is usually my side) and you come back with a bunch of dead skin under your nails? Yes, likely TMI. It always makes me want to scratch myself everywhere to exfoliate all of that extra skin off! Le Edge does that for you. It feels like using a razor, except that the metal edge is blunt, so it won't cut you. It painlessly and evenly gets rid of that extra skin. Without scratch marks.

9. Solevation Shower Mat: I love being able to just run my feet over it a few times. Perfect feet in a minute! While washing my hair!

10. Nivea Skin Firming Hydration Body Lotion: This is become my go-to summer lotion this year!

Top 10 Tuesday: My Favorite Products to Get My Glow On

Best Products to fake a tan glow

1. Beautisol Self Tanning Lotion: This is my favorite sunless tanner for a natural look without any smell!

2. Beautisol Self Tanner Back Applicator: Ok, I haven't tried this, but it looks genius and it will be in my next order.

3. Beautisol Hamman Exfoliating Mitt: I love quickly exfoliating everything evenly and this mitt is my favorite. It's especially important to not use an oily scrub right before a sunless tanner application.

4. Beautisol Application Mitt: This mitt helps make everything go on much smore smoothly.

5. NARS Multiple in Copacabana: This shimmery silver has a little tan in it, a little pink... It's a great chameleon and I have found that it is the perfect highlighter when I have a (fake) glow.

6. Rimmel Natural Bronzer: This is my go-to "steal" bronzer. The color is just golden enough (mine is quite a bit lighter than what they show in this image), but it doesn't look orange or dirty on my skin. It's a matte bronzer (which seems to be getting hard to find lately), and is a great bargain!

7. CoverGirl Nail Polish in Coral Silk: I definitely look tanner with coral polish than pink or red. This is my go-to shade.

8. Jergens Natural Glow Gradual Self Tanner: I love the idea of this tanner, though I need to be very careful about exfoliating (hello, my Hamman mitt!) or I turn a bit orange.

9. Too Faced Endless Summer Bronzer: This is my "splurge" bronzer, and the color is just a little better for my skin tone than the Rimmel. And yes, for me it really does last all day, or 16 hours!

10. Beautisol Tea Tan: I keep mentioning this product over and over, but haven't written a full post yet! This is super natural, wash off tan that doesn't transfer. It's perfect!
