Go Nails: 1 Product to Lengthen, Strengthen and Improve Your Nails

Go Nails, nail growth, strengthen finger nails,
While we all want to have great looking nails (yes, even if you don't get regular manicures chances are you still keep things neat and tidy), not all of us are blessed to have strong nails that look great. So, what is a girl to do? Try out all of the different nail treatment products that go on underneath nail polish? Just start taking prenatal vitamins?

Well, not exactly. It turns out that you do have an option if you have brittle nails (meaning your nails split or break easily for almost no reason), and there really isn't a reason why you shouldn't be able to benefit from this even if you have normal nails. What is the answer? Biotin. There are a few studies (1, 2, 3) that have found that 2.5 mg of Biotin once a day helps to increase nail strength. One study found a 25% increase in nail thickness and there was also subjective increase in nail growth speed. (I can't even imagine how hard that would be to quantify. I'm just fine with saying subjectively it seemed faster.)

Anyways.... yes, you could just take a pill once a day and watch your nails go gangbusters. But, the point of this post is to show you an alternative. Go Nails is that alternative. This nail cream contains ingredients like Arginine and Lipolastadine which promote healing and damage repair, thickening and strengthening. Perhaps most importantly, Go Nails already contains Biotin!

The whole idea is to use this daily as a cuticle cream. The active ingredients will work on the cuticles making them nice and pretty while the active ingredients (especially that lovely Biotin) penetrate just a little bit deeper into the nail plate where they do their magic.

Does it work? Yes, it does. Even despite having the crazy nail growth associated with my pregnancy hormones and prenatal vitamins, I noticed a difference in my nails once I started using Go Nails. The grew faster and a bit thicker, I had fewer issues with splitting and best of all was how hydrated and healthy my cuticles looked. The cream is really a pleasure to use- a light lotion (with a faint citrus scent) that feels super hydrating and sinks in almost immediately.

  1. Is the effect of using this cream lasting? In other words: do I have to keep on using it to maintain my nails or will they resort to their original state (i.e. thin and peeling) once I stop using the cream?
