Susan Posnick's ColorEssentials Lipsticks: Shades that Work For Everyone

When I opened the package containing these lippies, my heart sank. I was on the phone with my mom, and I immediately told her I had 3 new lipsticks for her. (Lucky her, we have exactly the opposite coloring, she gets stuff that won't work for me.) I had taken one look at these shades and immediately thought there was no way they would work with my pale, cool toned skin.

But... I was wrong!

Susan Posnick has a line of lippies called COLORESSENTIAL, which is filled with shades that will work with any skin tone. Something that I had obviously forgotten about as I opened the box.

This line of lipsticks originally had 5 shades, but they've just added 4 more to the mix. They have a wide array of shades, from a light nude to dark red. And they'll all work for almost anyone!

The lipsticks are really very nice. They feel very hydrating, almost like a lip balm has been mixed in to the lipstick. They have a nice shine and do last for about 3-4 hours without reapplication. One of my favorite features is actually the tube. It feels pretty heavy and just... luxurious. It has magnets incorporated into it, so the lid will basically close itself. When they are about 1/2 centimeter away from each other my tubes would just pull closed. Which means that they'll be safe in the bottom of your purse!

I ended up loving how all of the shades looked on my cool toned skin! This was definitely surprising. I'm sure I'll live up to my promise and share with my mom (she was excited about the magnet feature as well), but I'm already thinking about which shades I'll be ordering for myself.
