CoverGirl LashBlast's New Clump Crusher: The End of Clumps Forever?

LashBlast Clump Crusher Mascara Review
Have you grown tired of my continual discussion of CoverGirl LashBlast yet? I probably mention it at least once a week. So, you can imagine that I was a *bit* beyond excited when I found out that a new formula was coming out, LashBlast Clump Crusher.

Then CoverGirl asked if they could send it to me a bit early so I could play with it more and show you how it worked, and I practically screamed "YES" into the phone! So, this is just a little long intro post. I'll be using this formula for the next week and I'll update you at the end. But, I believe you'll be hearing a lot about Clump Crusher for now on. (Even though CoverGirl sent me a few tubes, I fully admit that I picked up another one when I saw an early display yesterday at my Walmart. I could not help myself.)

CoverGirl Clump Crusher Mascara Review
This is why I was so excited. I've shared my love of layering mascaras to get a better effect, and I use CG LashBlast Fusion as my top mascara. In large part, this is because it does such a great job of getting rid of any clumps or spidery lashes any other formulas leave behind. On its own, Fusion gives me great length and volume. But, if there was a formula that was truly clump free and pretty much guaranteed that I'd never have to break out my metal lash comb again? I'd be in beauty blogger heaven.

  1. I have been SO EXCITED for this! I love the entire LashBlast line, so I honestly cannot wait to try this one!! You're making me jealous that you've already found it in stores - I have to start hunting it down (not that I need a new tube of mascara...)

  2. I hope I can find this in my small town, I really want to try it--the LashBlast line is fabulous for drugstore mascara!

  3. Awesome! This was this mascara you had recommend to us in another one of your articles, can't wait to grab our hands on it! :) Does it come in different colors, or is it available in black only? And also, does it come in a waterproof version? :)

  4. I've been wanting to love a drugstore mascara so I'll look for this when they have a special on CG. Your lashes look amazing for having 150 swipes!

  5. The results are pretty unimpressive to me. I can get that 30-coat effect with a few coats of the Jordana mascara!

  6. @Laura, it actually looks pretty much the same as with 2 or 3 coats, once you keep going it doesn't seem to make a difference. It's mostly impressive that it isn't clumptastic with that many coats.

@Zaggora Girl, no waterproof yet, I saw Black, Brown and Black-Brown at Walmart.

  7. Lucky you. Wish Cover Girl contacted me. I like the idea of clump free.

  8. I read about your trick for pairing two different mascaras. I'm guessing you would use the clump-resistant one first?

I'm thinking how I can use your trick with this mascara and Benefit's They're Real, which so far has made the best difference in my lashes. The only down side is that They're Real easily gets clumpy and needs combing. That's not enough to make me give it up because other mascaras haven't given me the same length or density.

  9. Anyone who likes lashblast will probably like this. Me? None of the lashblast formulas work for me--makes my curled lashes straighten and droop even if it's a waterproof formula. I gave this a shot and had the same results. :( Going back to lashexact waterproof.
