Recently, Freeze 24-7 sent me a tube of their Freeze and Go, and I have to say that it's the primer I'm reaching for over and over now!
This primer does have a lot of silicone in it (which is great for slip and smoothness, helping make your pores disappear), but it looks like a white lotion and feels very lightweight, it has a light citrus scent. I need only a very small amount, about the size of a small pea, for my entire face. It is an off white color, but once it is applied it becomes invisible. I don't see much difference in my skin with just the primer alone, but the primer definitely makes a difference once I've applied some foundation over it!
The Freeze and Go does make my foundation smoother and less noticeable. More than any other primer, it seems to brighten my complexion, making me look more awake. That's really important for the days that I'm post call!

Freeze 24/7
Product Sent for Review
With such a ringing endorsement, I followed the link to the Freeze 24/7 website. This stuff is $75 for 20ml!!!! Since most primers are around $35 per ounce (28ml), Freeze 24/7's is $3.75/ml or two to three times as expensive as many department store primers. At that price, do you like it well enough to purchase yourself once your current tube runs out? At that price, Pat McGrath should jump out of the tube and do your makeup in the morning. Certainly, some women can afford this. I can't, though, and I don't think I'm alone.
ReplyDeleteLOL! I would looooove Pat McGrath to come and do my makeup. Honestly, I think I probably will repurchase, this will be a BIG splurge for me, I'm often a drugstore makeup girl.
