Finally, A Razor That Travels Easily: Gillette Venus Snap Review

Product Sent for Review, Affiliate Links

Gillette Venus Snap Review

So yes. I spent a lot of money on laser hair removal last year, but that just means that I'm no longer a Wookie. I still have to shave, but it's about once every week or so. In the summer when I swim a lot, I shave a little more often (about every 4-5 days) simply because I like to be super smooth in the pool. Which means that I still take a razor with me when I travel.

Gillette Venus Snap Review

Have you seen this amazing little razor from Gillette? I admit that I'm a razor snob, I only use Venus blades, usually the ones with Olay integrated into them. This small handle works perfectly with my regular Venus blades, but is smaller and easier to pack up. Despite the small size, it fits well in my hand and I don't feel like it's difficult to maneuver.

Just Because: Disneyworld Tips and Tricks

Disneyworld Tips and Tricks

Secret confession time. Or, maybe, not so secret?

I'm a Disney Fanatic. Big time. Huge. When we lived in So Cal, I had season passes and went to Disneyland a few times a month. I was counting down the days until I could take my oldest to Disney World. I read tons of Disney World blogs (yes, they exist!) and I'm even a moderator of a Disney group on Facebook. I could talk about Disney and Disney World for hours. It is to the point that friends and family come to me for planning advice when they decide to take a trip, and I could probably easily get a second job as a Disney Travel Agent.

Since I'm so Disney Obsessed, and I'm currently on countdown for this year's trip, I thought I'd consolidate some of my longer emails and FB posts for friends into a series on the blog. Obviously this is off topic for beauty, but since it is my blog... yeah, I'm going to do it anyways! These posts will likely be just on weekends, once a week or every few weeks.

Today I'll address a few general questions that I hear a lot from friends and family.

Beautzy Blog's 2 Day Makeup Kit for LA

Today Linda from Beautzy Blog is sharing her 2 day travel kit! She say, "I travel a lot. Because I’m in LA often for only 2 days, I pretty much have a set kit that I take. A few things vary here and there, but for my usual 'visit the in-laws, hang out with friends, chat with the cousins' LA trip, I take these things."

1. Perlier Honey Miel Face Royal Elixir Youth Serum (get it here): I can use this all over - face, eyes, and neck.

2. Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunscreen (get it here): Sunscreen is an important step I can't miss.

3. Urban Decay 24/7 Liquid Eyeliner in Perversion (get it here): I don't have to worry about smearing or smudging, and since I’ve been using liquid eyeliner for so long, it only takes seconds to apply.

4. BareMinerals High Shine Eyecolor in Moonshine (get it here): This is a gorgeous multi-dimensional color that looks good on its own.

5. Maybelline New York The Nudes Palette (get it here): I love the variety of neutrals in this palette. Because it's only $10, if it gets dropped or lost, I won't cry too hard.

6. Crown Brush Elite Infinity Set (get it here): These are currently my go-to brushes right now, and I love the sleek casing.

7. CoverGirl Colorlicious Lipgloss in Pinkalicious (get it here): This is a pretty color that works for day & night.

8. NYX Butter Lipsticks in Pops and Sweet Tart (get it here): These are lightweight and moisturizing, and I usually keep them in my purse.

9. City Cosmetics Contour Effects Palette (get it here): I don’t contour my face much, but if we go out in the evening, I want to lightly contour my chin and cheeks. I never apply with a heavy hand.

10. NARS Orgasm Blush (get it here): I take this color because I love the way it looks on me, and I have 2.

11. Urban Decay Electric palette (get it here): If we have plans to go out in the evening to the City Walk or somewhere fun, I’ll usually also pack this palette. I love bright eyeshadows!

I paired Linda's picks with the new 12. Tory Burch Travel Nylon Cosmetics Bag, which I have my eye on!

The Hold Me Bag: My Favorite Makeup Bag, New Size

Product Sent for Review

The Hold Me Bag, the best makeup travel organizer

So, usually when I travel I grab a few random bags from a plastic bin I have in my closet. But I always, always, use my Hold Me Bag for makeup. It has a big compartment for all of my makeup and even a great area for all of my pencils and brushes.

I take it with me everywhere I travel.

The Hold Me Bag Middle Sister size comparison

While the Hold Me bag has pretty much always come in two sizes, original and Baby Bag, I had an original and I thought a Baby would be too small for this beauty crazed girl, even for just a 2 day trip to my mom's house. BUT! They just came out with a middle size, the Middle Sister.

You can see the size differences between the two here. The Middle Sister is just a tiny bit smaller, it's also not quite as deep.

Inside the Hold Me Bag Middle Sister

When you compare the Middle Sister to the Hold Me bag there is a little smaller compartment, but it still zips closed, it still has the little pocket (I put nail polish remover pads there), there's a removable little thing that you could use to separate out products (I admit I'm still not sure what to do with it). I love that there are still spots for my makeup brushes, just a couple fewer slots. And they're still protected by a little flap.

The outside is that same vegan suede as the original Hold Me Bag. And really, it's great because you can just wipe it clean with a wet washcloth, which I fully admit that I was a bit too lazy to do before these pics. However, it has been way dirtier, especially that time I may have spilled loose powder all over the bag. A few wipes and it was back to perfect.

my favorite makeup travel bag

Finally, here's a quick pick at the inside with some of my new products (yes, I splurged a bit at Sephora yesterday). You can see that even though it is smaller, it definitely holds more than enough for a trip!

Pack Light, Look Great and Save Money

Nothing to Disclose

light packing tips for clothing and makeup, travel

Today I have an amazing guest post from Shereen from ShereenTravelsCheap.com! Shereen obviously travels frequently, and like me is a beauty addict! She's got a lot of great tips for packing for any trip.

When you travel, it can be tempting to pack half your closet and 10 pair of shoes, especially when you're going on vacation for several weeks and you aren't sure what you'll feel like wearing on any particular day. Will you be lounging by the pool or going out dancing? Planning can help, but most of us instinctually get in that "what if" headspace and just start chucking random things into the suitcase and only question what we have packed when we either have to sit on it to get it closed or start hunting for a second bag. Then we groan when we get to the airport and have to spend money on second or overweight bag fees and just declare that traveling is too expensive. Well, there's no doubt that it can be expensive, but there are costs you can control and packing is one of them.

Over the years, I've perfected my packing style, so that I've gone from taking a big suitcase with shoes for every outfit to taking one large carry-on and another smaller one for both my husband and myself. Did you know that most women travelers wear/use only 20% of what they bring? If that's true, that means you can leave up to 80% of what you planned to pack at home in your closet. Keeping that in mind and paying close attention to the things I never touched once I made it to my destination, I slowly began to whittle down my travel wardrobe and beauty products. I now know what I'm likely to wear and need for just about any trip of any length any time of year.

What's in your beauty bag?

By far, this has been my most challenging area when starting to pack. Like many of you, my bathroom is stuffed with products I've tried once, but haven't used again or thrown out, multiple trendy eye shadows, mascara wands, eyeliners and makeup palettes. Do I use all of these every day? No. In fact, I tend to use the same items over and over, but the possibilities! I like choices. Being reasonable and realistic about what you use with help when you start setting aside items to take with you.

Only bring what you normally use
I don’t vary much in my routine. Sometimes I will add a sparkly eye shadow or a lip gloss

Bring multipurpose items
These will help you take fewer products and also save time each day.

Examples might be:
• Foundation + moisturizer = tinted moisturizer
My favorite being Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer with SPF. This is especially good for traveling in the summer, as it gives you light coverage, protection against the sun and extra needed moisture.

• Blush + lip stain = dual purpose makeup
Gel color for cheeks is incredibly popular and allows you to better control your coverage. It also doesn’t dry out your skin like traditional powder blushes might. If you are a fan of wearing similar colors on your cheeks and your lips, these dual products – like Stila’s Convertible Color – are perfect for making space in your travel beauty bag.

• Lip balm + lip color = tinted lip balm
I am a lip balm addict. I fully admit it. I have a tube of lip balm in my travel bag, my purse, my desk drawer, on my end table next to the couch. Instead of packing harsh lipsticks that sap my lips of moisture, I take one or two tinted lip balms that add a bit of color while not drying out my lips. An all-natural one like Burt’s Bees lip shimmers are great, because they really work, are smaller than a lipstick tube and come in a variety of colors.

Save those sample sizes
If you have a whole drawer full of makeup, then it’s likely you will also have a ton of those trial sizes from all your purchases. When I come across one that I like, or is something I use regularly at home, I toss it in my travel bag. It’s easier than full-size products and you don’t have to remember to pack it if you’ve already done so when you’ve brought it home. If you are looking for other items in smaller sizes, because decanting is not always that fun, check out 3floz.com and you can find most of your favorite luxury brand name haircare and beauty products in travel sizes.

Downsize to travel-size appliances
Can’t leave home without your flat iron or hair dryer? While most hotels have adequate blow dryers, I can understand not wanting to take the chance on an unknown appliance. Many companies have recognized the need for mini versions of their products, so invest in a smaller straightener, curling iron or hair dryer that will take up less space in your travel bag, while giving you the same results. I don’t go anywhere without my mini flat iron, and sometimes I feel like it works better than my full-size one at home.

Zip-top bags + cotton pads = super space savers
If you have a favorite toner or other liquid product that you can put on with a cotton round, then toss as many as you need into a zip-top bag and squeeze some of your product inside to soak it up. Now you don’t have to put it in your liquids bag and won’t worry about yet another container that will open mid-flight and drench everything else. If you use facial cleansing pads, ditch their bulky container and put them directly into a zip-top bag to save more space.

What if I need this sequin skirt?

Unless you have actual plans to wear it somewhere - and more than once - you don't. Put it back in the closet and focus on the knowns of your trip. What do you normally wear at home? What plans are on your itinerary? Making a packing list is a great place to start, because it can keep you from overpacking and helps you put together outfits that work. Here are some good rules to follow:

Mix and Match
When you travel, and try to pack in just a carry-on, every bit of space you have is crucial. If items you take don’t go with at least two other pieces, then it has no place in your bag. Making sure you coordinate all items to mix and match and make the most of your wardrobe is important. Pick a palette and stick to it, such as all neutral bottoms, so all your tops will go with them. I took a two-week trip to Europe with just three pairs of pants, four tops and a cardigan, which is my general rule for packing.

Plan to layer
You can’t predict everything, especially when flying, so I always pack a couple of tank tops in my bag and a cardigan. Add a jacket or coat if your destination is cold. If it’s really warm, you have a basic tank to wear. As it gets colder, you can add layers to keep warm, ensuring you are ready for almost all weather. How can you get by with so little clothes? Plan to take a couple of hours out of your trip to do some laundry. You’ll be glad you did.

Take two pair of shoes
Period. I know you want to take more, but it’s really not necessary. When you travel, you are probably spending a lot of time on your feet. All you really need is a pair of great walking shoes and a pair of nicer, comfortable shoes, like sandals or wedges that won’t make you want to cut off your feet. Even if you head out dancing, you might be happier in a pair of pretty ballet flats than your favorite stilettos after hours of sightseeing, especially if you have to take public transportation or walk over cobblestone to get there.

Make sure to accessorize
How will you add glitz and glamour to your look if you can only take two pairs of shoes and boring neutral outfits? The simple answer is: accessories. A chunky necklace, a sparkly bangle or a look-at-me cocktail ring can really add some pizzazz to an otherwise plain tank and skinny jean. Head to the hair accessory aisle of your favorite drug store and you’ll find new products that look like hairbands or hair ties and double as necklaces and bracelets. Multipurpose is good!

Once you start looking more objectively at the items you pack, the easier it’ll be to see which ones are unnecessary and how you can pack smaller in order to save baggage fees. You’re already forking over your hard-earned money to fly to your destination. You shouldn’t have to pay for your clothes to get there too.

Flying carry-on-only gives you more freedom when you travel. There’s no chance of your bag getting lost, you don’t have to wait around at the baggage carousel and it’ll be much easier to get around without a heavy suitcase. Have you ever tried to heave a 40-pound bag up four flights of stairs? Well, now you won’t have to.

My Favorite Way to Travel: My Favorite Beauty Products and Packing Accessories For On The Go

Sponsored Post

the best beauty travel accessories

I'm getting pretty cabin feverish with our weather lately. This is both the coldest and most snow on record winter we've had in my area, and I am really ready for spring! Luckily, we're heading out of town soon-ish. Which means I'm very much looking forward to my upcoming trip!

I'm a chronic over-packer, which means that when I flew for work about a month ago it was amazing that I managed to pack for a weekend and use a carry on! I think it has been a little while since I shared my favorite beauty items for travel, you can see all of them in my Beauty Travel Favorites Collection.

best beauty toiletry accessories for travel

Really, all travel packing starts with the bag. What are you going to put your products in? After years of using those free gift with purchase bags, I've gone over to specially purchased bags, and I am never going back. Why? These things are amazing. Mine are from Trina, and you can see them in posts like my dramatic overpacking of my hospital bag. These bags are amazing because they come in so many shapes and sizes. It's super easy to find one that is the right size for what I'm taking. Mine are all lined in clear plastic, so on the off chance I do have a spill it will be easy to clean up. My favorite of the bags is my Weekender, which has smaller removable bags inside.

Next, after years of spilled products, I've learned to be super picky about my travel bottles. My favorite are from Nalgene, which come in a huge array of shapes and sizes. I've also learned that having a bunch of little funnels on hand when preparing your bottles is a huge time and mess saver.

When I have a liquid that needs to be sprayed on, I like to use a travel atomizer like the one from Travalo. It's great for items like heat protectant for my hair or makeup setting spray! And yes, little funnels are great for filling the atomizer as well.

Finally, I'm lusting after that travel mirror. Over the summer, my friend Phyrra had a pretty similar mirror when we were in Chicago and I was so jealous! It is really hard to get decent lighting when you are in a hotel, so I want a mirror like this. I'm still looking for more travel items for my upcoming trip, be sure to watch my Beauty Travel Favorites Collection.

travel products for hair

I know I can't be the only one whose hair freaks out when exposed to new water! The water is usually hard, I never know if I'll be frizzy or flat, and drying seems to take forever. I've learned that I need to bring my own blow dryer, pretty much no matter where I'm heading. If I'm trying to limit myself to a carry on, I'll bring solid shampoo and conditioner. I use products from LUSH, my favorites are the Godiva and Ultimate Shine Shampoos and Big Solid Conditioner, both of which are in my Beauty Travel Favorites Collection.

Best Travel Skincare

The skincare that I travel with changes depending upon the season, what I'm testing at home and where I'm heading. There are a few things that I always bring with me. The first is a tinted moisturizer/BB cream. My current favorite is the Pond's BB Cream, which offers some sunscreen and light coverage. This is actually what I've been using pretty much every day this winter in the place of a heavier foundation.

Next, no matter how much I try to prep my skin for a flight, or even moisturize and mist myself in flight, I always end up dry and a bit lackluster. I now bring a small sample sized vial of Kiehl's Midnight Recovery with me every time I travel. I just need a few drops on my skin before bed, and my skin is back to normal the next morning.

Finally, I always like to bring a few different skincare treatments with me when I travel. I have a few small samples of my favorite masks and scrubs, such as the Kiehl's Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Mask, which are super easy to throw into my bag without taking up much space. I'll have enough for a full use if I need it.

makeup for travel

Probably the biggest problem that I have when packing is limiting the amount of makeup that I bring. I'm a girl that needs a lot of choices, and I always overestimate the amount of choice that I'll need. I've started collecting the small travel palettes from Stila. These palettes are a steal! Depending upon the palette they contain up to 5 coordinating eye shadows and a blush. I have about 4 of them, but there are so many more that I want! I just grab a few of these (usually with a regular palette, or two) and that's all I need.

I also need a very pigmented concealer, the Amazing Cosmetics concealer is usually my choice. I love that there are so many shade options and it is easy to blend into the BB Cream for added coverage.

Finally, travel brushes! I think it's a big mistake to leave brushes at home, and a compact set (especially if the brushes are double ended) won't take up much space.

What are your must have travel beauty items? Do you have any tips for packing to save space and multi-task?

Loving This: Hold Me's Amazing Cosmetic Brush and Makeup Travel Bag

Product Sent for Review

Hold Me Cosmetic Travel Bag Review and Pictures
I feel like I've been talking about this bag nonstop since it was sent to me, though maybe it was mostly with my friends, over email and Facebook because somehow, somehow this hasn't made it to the blog yet.

This is the most amazing travel makeup bag ever. Seriously, ever.

The best travel makeup and brush bag ever!
The bag comes in 2 sizes, I have the larger size, but there's a "baby" size as well. The outside is a vegan suede product, but mostly I love it because it is super durable and I don't think anything could ruin that fabric! Inside it is a laminated print (mine is the cute bird print you see here, there are lots of options), which means all spills should be super easy to clean up.

There are 2 main reasons that I love this bag:
1. They kept it simple with 1 big compartment for your makeup. You can put a lot of stuff in there, but it is all really easy to see and there's enough space even for a big compact. I love that it is a big flat area and therefore easy to find stuff, not a lot of digging around. I hate travelling with a bag that has too many compartments or is too deep. You have to dig around for too long to find your mascara!

2. That brush area. Seriously, how could you not love it? It has slots for 15 brushes, though I don't use all of them. With other bags it's always a debate: To use a different bag for them? Hunt down my travel brush bag (which is too short for many of my faves, and still a separate item), or just throw them in with the makeup and risk it? This is separated from the makeup so my brushes are protected, but super easy to find what I need and they're right there with the brushes! No losing my brush bag and finding it in a shoe on the last day of vacation... not that it has happened to me before...

Perfect Travel Makeup and Cosmetic Brush Bag

This is what my bag looked like a few weeks ago when I took my toddler to Grammy and Papa's house for a few days (Daddy was out of town for work, we went to play!) You can see I just threw everything I needed in there with a bunch of brushes. It was really easy to get ready each morning since I could just open the bag and everything was laid out and easy to find.

Genius!

Makeup Wars: My Travel Beauty Essentials

Packing for travel
This week for Makeup Wars we've decided to concentrate on travel beauty. Some of us will show what we pack, what we bring in our 3-1-1 bag, how we keep our skin glowing despite the arid environment of an airplane, etc. I've decided to show a bunch of what I'd be bringing if I left for my next vacation tomorrow. Actually, my next vacation isn't too far off, very soon my husband and I will be taking our 2 year old to Walt Disney World for her first visit! She's proving to be as much of a Disney fan as I am (our current favorite videos are Winnie the Pooh, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Peter Pan), so you can only imagine my excitement! Even better, while we're in Orlando my friend Nancy from Beauty 411 will be at the resort as well, and I'm really looking forward to seeing her!

In all of my Disney preparations for our first visit with a toddler, I've been reading a ton of travel tips, and you can see some of what I've been reading over on my Disney travel tips Pinterest board. I'm planning on doing things like bringing things to occupy my daughter while in line, I have rain parkas for those sudden Orlando showers, even little laundry soap pods for our in room washer and dryer! If you have some Disney World travel tips for toddlers, definitely share them with me! I want everything to go as smoothly as possible.

In the meantime, if I was packing up tonight, here's most of the beauty items that I'd bring with me. I'm not a girl that can pack everything in to a carry on, I am the super over packer. Honestly, I'm not even sure that I can do 1 night with a carry on. I'm trying to be more minimal (for me) on this trip. I still want to feel like myself, but I'm limiting my shadow and lippie options, etc. (Remember, I'm the girl that usually has 20-30 glosses in her purse. Not really on purpose, but that's just the way I roll.)

 photo travel-makeup-bags.jpg
These are the bags I usually travel with. I previously featured them in my hospital bag post, though I use them all the time when going out of town. The first bag was sent to me by Trina, but I liked it so much that I bought 4 matching bags (not all of them are here, they're spread amongst various suitcases). I love them because they're lined, so if anything spills then the mess is contained. They're the perfects sizes and shapes, and I especially love that the big bag has removable matching clear bags.

 photo shower-essentials.jpg
1. Olay Body Wash: This is an anti-aging one, though somewhere I have the Olay Ultra Moisture Body Wash somewhere here too. I have a smaller shower poof here, but really only because it was in my travel bag. I'll likely swap it out for me Beautisol Exfoliating Mitt.

2. Ummm... yes, shave gel and a razor. Venus and Skintimate.

3. I'm still undecided about body lotion. Here I'm showing Kiehl's Creme de Corps, though I usually use Cetaphil Cream. I haven't decided if the Kiehl's will be enough moisture for me.

 photo travel-skincare.jpg
I usually travel with whatever skin care I'm testing at that time, though I do try to add in a few "emergency" items to help cope with issues due to travel.

1. Pevonia Hydrating Sunscreen: Obviously I'm a big fan of sunscreen, and since I'm going to Florida I'll need a decent SPF to wear every day. This has SPF 30 and is very light weight.

2. My current regimen from Pevonia Spa Clinica is obviously what I'd pack to come with me.

3. I'm currently pairing my Pevonia C Evolutive Eye Gel with the rest of the PSC. It's great under makeup and to decrease puffiness.

4. Kiehl's Midnight Recovery: I don't travel without my Midnight Recovery! A few drops on my skin before I head to bed and any dryness from a long flight is just... gone. Love that.

 photo sunprotection-disney.jpg
More sun protection!

1. Coppertone Kids Wacky Foam: My daughter has become a bit resistant to my slathering of lotion, so I'm hoping that this foam will persuade her! A foam also sounds lighter weight than the usual lotion that we use.

2. Coppertone Lip Balm: I once had a sunburn on my lips, and I swear, never again! This Coppertone Sport also has sun protection.

3. Aveeno Baby Sunblock Lotion: This is my old stand by for my daughter, I'll still be bringing it, but likely it will be my husband and I using it.

 photo travel-hair-items.jpg
1. L'Oreal Advance Haircare Total Repair 5 Shampoo and Conditioner: I'll be decanting my shampoo and conditioner into smaller bottles, but I'm really loving this new line from L'Oreal. Seriously, amazing.

2. DermOrganic Hair Masque: Wow. Seriously, the best hair masque ever. And it only takes a minute. I'm always worried about how my hair will respond to water when I'm out of town, having a few applications of this with me will make me feel a lot better!

3. L'Oreal Advance Haircare Color Vibrancy Dual Protect Spray: It looks like a regular shine spray, but it is so much more. It smells amazing, gives me great shine, and oh yes, it protects my hair. It has some UV protection and protects against heat up to 450 degrees. L'Oreal, please, please, please start making this in a travel sized bottle!

4. Ojon full detox Rub-Out Dry Cleansing Spray: Birchbox sent me a travel size of this great dry shampoo, so it's coming with me! It isn't powdery, doesn't leave a white mess, just soaks up oil and adds great volume. Love that.

5. DermOrganic Leave in Treatment: DermOrganic's version of the hair oil that everyone has. This one has Argan Oil and does a better job than others (**cough, cough, MorrocanOil**) at making my hair soft and shiny. Oh, and it is almost impossible to use too much, my hair seems to just suck this stuff up.

6. DermOrganic Volume Foam: This is a great "mousse" that really is a liquid that foams up with a pump. It adds volume and some hold to my hair without becoming sticky.

7. Sarah Potempa Beach Waver Curling Iron: Yeah, so this is amazing. And I'm still obsessed with it despite frying my hair with it over the summer. My newly dark hair does seem to look better when a few curls have been added (I think it looks a bit harsh when really straight. I'm probably just not used to it), and the curls are WAY better as 2nd day hair. So, Volume Foam for just the right amount of hold, curl, and I'm good for a few days. That sounds like vacation hair to me!

 photo misc-travel-items.jpg
1. Kiehl's Lip Balm #1: I wear it every night. I can't go to sleep without it. I might be addicted.

2. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Concentrate: This product is really interesting. It is kind of hard and feels almost waxy at first, but when you get it out it quickly melts and just sinks into skin, healing everything. It's insane moisture. It's how I'm surviving this winter.

3. Elie Saab Perfume: So, I really need to just fully review this perfume. I'm wearing it every day (my husband loves it), and I've mentioned it a few times. It's made me put all my other perfume testings/reviews on hold because I only want to wear it. Anyways, they just came out with this really great travel atomizer (that's the gold thing), but what is really great is that there are 3 vials of the perfume! So, you can refill it. You simply twist the gold atomizer, and something comes out of the top, you spritz from there. So, it's pretty hard to get it all over the place.

4. Kiehl's Ultimate Strength Hand Salve: This is the hand lotion I leave in my white coat pocket at the hospital so I tend to travel with it, though it might not make it in the suitcase due to the FAB Ultra Repair Concentrate. We'll see!

5. Rembrandt Deeply White + Peroxide Toothpaste: This is a new minty flavor, and it is wintergreen (!!! Love that!!!) and it doesn't taste like peroxide. I'm doing a lot of tooth whitening stuff with my new hair. They were white before, but with the new hair my skin looks lighter and more porcelain, and somehow white teeth just didn't look quite as white. So, I'm sticking with toothpaste for now, but I have another Rembrandt 2 Hour Whitening Kit already in my bathroom. I might do it, not sure yet.

6. Revitalash: Love this stuff, it's given me amazing eye lashes.

7. Aveeno 1% Hydrocortisone: In case my eczema flares

8. Clindamycin Gel: This is my prescription for my rosacea.

A lot of these are my oldie but goodies, things that I know will work. See below for a few more details.

1. Eyeshadows, primer is my NYX primer, there's a stick shadow from Mally and 2 Urban Decay liners (Zero and Underground).

2. Lippies: I have a nice array of colors here, but the real star is the Mally Beauty Lip Primer. I can't find it alone, but it comes with the perfect red lip kits. It's a white-ish liquid that becomes clear, and creates a slightly sticky base for under lipstick. IT IS AMAZING. Oh wait, did I yell that? Yes. I meant to do that. It makes all lipsticks better, last much longer and not come off when you sip your coffee. Get it.

3. Face Items: CoverGirl TruBlend in my new shade of 410, It Cosmetics Concealer, TruBlend Pressed Powder and my Urban Decay De-Slick Setting Spray.

4. Mascaras: Obviously, a curler and my CoverGirl Clump Crusher Mascara and the new Maybelline Rocket Mascara. An amazing combo.

5. Some blushes, a travel Tweezerman and Clean & Clear Oil Control Sheets.

6. Milk of Magnesia Face Primer: Basically, it is 75% MoM and 25% water. I have it in a little Nalgene bottle so it won't spill, and it is definitely coming to Florida!

1. Mally Shadow in Saddle Shimmer: It's kind of a gold. So pretty!

2. Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette

3. Stila Travel Palette, this one is an old one, "Road to Radiance Across the USA"

4. Watch for a post soon, but this is the PUR Minerals Beautiful Creatures Palette. Amazing. I might need a backup.

1. Stila Convertible Color in Lillium

2. Stila Travel Palette: I don't know the name of it, but the convertible color in this palette is pretty close, I might leave my beloved Lillium at home. And that is a little claw mark in the product, my 2 year old tried to dig it out with her fingers... I guess she liked it too?

3. Laura Mercier Creme Cheek Color in Oleander
