This great video from the ladies over at Marie Claire makes me realize that I am very unskilled with my flat iron, since I pretty much only use it to straighten and on occasion make a few waves. I'll be doing the curls and trying out the volumizing trick really soon. Have you done this? Did it work? I'm wondering what product would be needed in my hair...

Okay, wow! This makes me want to play around with my flatiron over my holiday break! :) I have not tried these techniques...but, would love to try the volume-at-the-crown one for sure and the waves! Redken has some nice heat protectants! :) Great post!
ReplyDeleteVery cool, I'm just afraid my super straight hair would end up all creased - it creases soooo easily
ReplyDeleteThank you nice video, I'll try it! Thanks again.
ReplyDeleteThere's loads of stuff a flat iron can do.. but I'm just too lazy to do it myself.. I need by best friend to do it for me and vice versa
ReplyDeleteI tried some of these tips today with my flat iron and was surprised that I could actually get some lift and curl! Thanks for posting this.
