First of all, this oil does not smell like coconut. To me it has a light herbal scent, but a bit tangy with some lavender scent. I know I've smelled something like this before and could likely do a better job of explaining, but it is escaping me at the moment. I'll update when I think of it.
The coconut in the name actually refers to the coconut oil that is the main ingredient in this oil. Apparently coconut oil is quite a bit smaller in structure than other oils, so it is more easily absorbed into the skin. The formula also contains quite a few other herbal ingredients such as lavender, rosemary and green tea. Many act as anti-oxidants in addition to hydrating the skin.
I've been using the oil immediately before I get out of the shower. It sinks in right away and I don't need another moisturizer over it. It's the perfect summer moisturizer.

Christine,
ReplyDeleteI know you have talked about this before, but I thought it might be in the bath post.
What is/are your current deodorant(s)? I'm moving to a new office and increasing my work hours and I must wear nicer clothes too and don't want to mess around with failing deodorant. Thanks!!!
Cindy
Hi Cindy!
ReplyDeleteMy fave is Secret Waterproof, I swear this stuff is amazing. My only issue is that it seems to stick around in the shower? I kind of have to scrub a little to get it off so I can shave. Otherwise it junks up the razor. It took me a while to realize this, hence it isn't mentioned in the review. Not a big deal, I just scrub for a few extra seconds, but make sure you take the time to do it or you'll risk your razor like I have. :D
Congrats on the new job!
I love applying body oil after shower. It provides long lasting moisture on my skin. I use the one from Omorovicza. It Firming Body Oil which is easily absorb by the skin.
