How to Get Easy Beachy Waves that Last for Hours!

Easy Waves in your hair, beach

Wavy has has definitely become this summer's go 0to hair style for me. It looks casual but not lazy, seems to work at work (no pun intended), especially if I pull it back a little, and makes my darker hair a little less... harsh for my pale skin. A bit softer.

If you're going to spend the time to create the waves, then they should stick around! Joico's International Artistic Director Damien Carney created this video to show how he creates the waves.

Drab to Fab: Summer Style Session

Win Joico products to create easy beachy waves that will last all day!
You can win the products used in the video! Open to those in the US and over 18 years old.

  2. I love beachy waves! I've never tried using the curling iron though, I usually just make some waves with my hot iron!

  3. My hair is naturally curly but I always wear it straight. I'm trying to give the waves more of a chance this summer, though!

  5. I'd always had hair that walked the line between curly and wavy, but it wasn't until a recent trip back to the Midwest that I realized the humid weather really made the curls come out. Now that I'm back on the dry East Coast, mousse has become my friend to punch up the waves!

  10. My go-to is a high ponytail this summer. My hair is in an akward growing out phase, and it also gets unruly in the humidity!

  19. I always end up just putting my hair into a boring ponytail. I love the way my hair looks down but I get so hot because I have really thick hair. Ugh.
