12 New Summer Buys Makeup Artists Are Loving Now

"I love Benefits new BB cream, Bigger than BB Big Easy (1). It's perfect for days I want to look polished but want to go lighter on the makeup."
- Katie Dahlstrom

Smashbox Be Legendary Lip Gloss (2) is simply put: amazing. It's ultra lightweight with a super high-gloss glassy shine. It's non-sticky like so many other lip glosses on the market. It give you a nice photo finish and looks more like a gel. For summer, I recommend this gloss in "Coquette," a pale bubblegum pink, "Melondrama" a coral with a nice bit of sheen, and "Posy Pink," a beautiful pale, peachy pink with subtle shimmer.

"Vaseline Rosy Tint (3)"
- Haley Kulow

"Butter London Nail Lacquer (4) offers so many wonderfully diverse shades of polish. These polishes apply like a dream, they're quite durable, and offer everything from glitter to darks to pale pastels. Some great shades to try for summer: "Teddy Girl," a retro bubblegum pink, "Cake-Hole," an opaque, quasi, hot neon pink, "Cheeky Chops," a fantastically bright, banana yellow polish, "Diamond Geezer," platinum for your fingertips minus the price tag; a dazzling metallic silver, and lastly, and "Giddy Kipper," a shimmery, cobalt indigo is perfect for summer's blue trend."

"Skindinavia's The Makeup Primer Spray (review, 5) is such an ingenious concept and brings priming your skin for makeup to a whole new level. Really a great product and one that makeup artists will love to add to their kits."
- Sheila, blogs at The Painted Ladies, and she is available as a makeup artist

"I'm loving Eddie Funkhouser Luxlight Hydrating Primer in Candlelight (review, 6), which is a "masstige" item that crosses prestige and mass market beauty. This is a lightweight primer that gives skin an amazing, non disco-ball glow and can be worn universally by every skin tone."

"The Osmosis Midnight Jade Eye Shadow Trio (7). It is a beautiful set that can offer a smoky or natural look to anyone's eyes. The Khaki green color really brings out the blue and green for eyes and on the darker colored eyes, it makes them look warm and sensual. The soft pink shade is a great highlighter or you can use it as a abase to make fine lines and wrinkles look less apparent on the eye lids. Finally the black shadow can be used as a soft liner under the eyes or add intensity when going out at night for a smoky seductive finish."

"I love ZUZU LUXE Color Correcting Primers (8)! I think healthy flawless skin is our best accessory, the dual purpose Primers correct color imperfections and reduce the appearance of fine lines and pores to achieve a smooth clear complexion."

"Another new favorite is ZUZU LUXE Mosaic Illuminators (9) as they too are an effective tool for a beautiful complexion, plus they are easy to use. With its dual purpose design the multi-pigmented Mosaic Illuminator captures light and covers imperfections giving your complexion a luminous beautiful finish."

"It Cosmetics Vitality Face Disc (10). This is a great all-in-one palette! It has a matte bronzer, highlighter, and a beautiful, bright blush in one compact. The blush is amazing! It looks very bright in the palette, but applied sparingly, it gives an amazing natural flush. It is HIGHLY pigmented, so a little goes a long way! You have to build up for the intensity you want. This blush is great because it can be used on fair to very deep complexions."
- Liz Fuller

"Tom Ford Eye and Cheek Compact in Unabashed (11). This is a limited-edition palette and I was hesitant to purchase it because it is very expensive. However, I fell in love immediately and had to have it. It's got gorgeous shadows and really warm, summery blushes. Oh I love it!!!"
- Liz Fuller

"L'Oreal's Miss Manga mascara (review, 12) is all of $8 and produces incredibly voluminous, lush lashes. Best of all this is very easy to layer without worrying about spider lashes!"
