I've been trying to figure out which Bond Fragrance is my favorite, and let me tell you this has not been an easy task! Smelling all of the scents over and over, I do find myself drawn to a few over and over (Andy Warhol's Silver Factory and Saks for Her among them). One that I've found really growing on me is the Hamptons fragrance. I've been wearing it all weekend, and I like it more and more as time goes on!
The Hamptons is more of a unisex fragrance, and it's meant to invoke thoughts of the Hamptons. The Hamptons scent makes me think more of the green meadows meeting the sea, a la Diane Keaton's home in Something's Gotta Give (a movie I love so much that I remodeled my kitchen a few years ago to look like hers!).
Top Notes: Lime Blossoms, Bigarrade Oil (from bitter oranges), lemon-limey Bergamot, Armoise Oil, Cedar and Sage
Middle Notes: Magnolia, Jasmine, Turkish Rose
Base Notes: Amber, Sandalwood, Cashmere Musk
I haven't looked at the notes in this fragrance until now, and I guess it should come as no surprise that I love this fragrance! Initially I smell mostly Lime Blossoms, Magnolia and a bit of the Sandalwood when I smell the scent in the bottle. Once I've had the scent on for a while, the Sandalwood starts to fade into the background, you smell a bit more of the Bergamot and Amber, with definite notes of Lime Blossoms and a bit of Magnolia that hours later melts into Jasmine. Absolute perfection!
